B
baffled
Symptoms:
Completley locks up my PIII 601 Mhz 256
Mg system
Giving "unknown revision" error in event log
after reinstalling P I!
when I try to insert, copy, save etc.
Actions taken:
Added additional 128 mg ram [bringing original 128
to current ram]
Increased Page File to 300 mg
Uninstalled [through add remove] Picture It!
Checked for conflicts on hardware/software
Ran Publisher -which was also crashing the system-
w/o Picture IT! which finally did freeze, but
after MUCH opening of files on the desktop
etc, which I don't normally do-just in this case
to attempt to crash the system
Reinstalled Picture IT! and it
immediately crashed/froze up.
Uninstalled Picture IT!= all apps working correctly
Reinstalled P I and you guessed it FREEZES UP
Publisher is a 2000 version. Should those drivers be
reinstalled and possibly updated?
Any ideas out there? The shop I took it to for evaluation
couldn't come up with any ideas. Other than to reinstall
the 2002 Upgrade that was put on after a rebuild.
