Outlook ms outlook 2000 wont send/receive attachments

first post here

can send and receive tiny attachments and emails with no attachment.

have disabled AVG email scanner from checking outgoing emails.

have emptied the archives in outlook

running xp with office 2000 on toshiba laptop

error msg

An unknown error has occured. Please save any existing work and restart the program.
(Account: 'pop-server-satx.rr.com', SMTP Server:'smtp-server-satx.rr.com', Error Number 0x80004005).

This issue just started a week ago, never had any trouble before.

Hope I can get some help. Thanks in advance.

thanks for the tip, doing it now.

also cleaned out with cc cleaner

superb forum here, need to look around for some notebook hd deals because this one is getting clickity
