They will with the 2007 compatibility pack installed......
OpenOffice.org will.

To a certain extent. As long as there's no fancy formatting or tables, then
yes, I agree.

OpenOffice.org will.

You have a reading comprehension problem? He was asking about MS Office and
probably doesn't give a SHIT about Open Sores Office which is about 10 years
behind Office 2000!

You keep using Open Office because it's free and you can't afford MS Office.

The date and time was 11/7/2008 11:28 AM, and on a whim, Gordon pounded
out on the keyboard:

I thought that too until today. I updated one of my daughters computer
with OO3 yesterday and opened a Word doc that was a very heavily
formatted form with tables from a hiring company. I was very surprised
to see that OO3 opened it perfectly.

Which has nothing to do with them being installed on Vista, older versions
can't read 2007 natively when installed on any OS.

What part of "older than OL2003" did you have difficulty
comprehending?
Gordon is a bit S.L.O.W. He is in a special class at school and sleeps on
his own mat.

I'm not familiar with "Open Sores Office" could you give me a link so I
could try it out and see for myself?
You keep using Open Office because it's free and you can't afford MS
Office.

I can afford to use any damned thing I like, bucky. I use OpenOffice.org
because I CHOOSE to. Linux and Open Source are all about CHOICE.

Quite true. Also true that OpenOffice.org works quite well on any OS and
will read the ms office 2007 files.
