Hi,
I am having a network wide problem in regards to Office XP. I have users
with Windows 2000 Pro desktops and Office XP installed locally on their PCs
via the Custom Installation Wizard in the Office XP Resource Kit. I have
noticed that it takes about 13 seconds for WinWord or Excel to startup from
a click on the Office Shortcut Bar, but it only takes about a second to
startup if you access it from a shortcut on your desktop or from your
'Start' menu.
The thing that confuses me most is that I have an Office XP deployment from
the same package running on my Windows XP machine and I don't experience the
delay that is being reported to me.
Does anyone have ideas as to what I can look at?
Thanks in Advance,
JeffH
