Is it possible to display the day of the week, i.e. Monday, Tuesday etc above
the date column in Calendar?

Yes but this needs to be done in the Control Panel || Regional Option and
Language Options || Customize || Date || change the long date format to
"dddd MMMM yyyy", this is for Win XP.

That should be Regional and Language Options

many thanks for this. however, when i follow your path, i only get 2 choices
in the LONG DATE field: d and dd ! Neither of these have altered the display
in Calendar leaving me with my 7 day view in colums with the date on top but
frustratingly, without the day displayed!

i am running Win XP, by the way.

any other thoughts?

Damn, that's good!

i love it when a plan comes together!

many thanks for such insightful help. i will no longer have "senior moments"
when using Calendar!

This also works in Windows 7 / Outlook 2003. You have to go to Additional
Settings in Regional Language. Great! Thanks.
