MS Office 2003 Trial Version (60 days) Expired

My computer came with the Ms Office 2003 trial version(standard edition)
which expired in 60 days. Once the program expired I did not want to update
so I decided to remove the program(ms Office 2003) I went to control panel
and use the add/remove feature to remove the program. All appeared to have
worked fine,no problems. until the following: windows installer keeps trying
to re-install
the program Ms Office 2003. Windows installer starts and says installing ms
office 2003, please wait while windows configures ms office 2003.This
procedure just continues to repeat over and over. I checked all of the nooks
and crannies looking for any trace of ms office 2003 on my computer. nothing
in registery,or hidden folders, or hard drive.I have downloaded windows
clean-up tool, no luck.
I have contacted Microsoft for a answer, no response as yet
"how do I get rid of this pesky problem" How can I stop windows installer
for constantly trying to re-install "ms office 2003" I reall need your help.
