If I have MS.net Framework 3.0 (57.76MB) installed, do I need MS.net
Framework 2.0 (88.54MB) installed also?

All three versions are different applications, not upgrades of the one
before. You don't need any of them installed unless you have software that
requires them.

"Need" is too strong a word, but you *may* need it. 3.0 is not an
upgrade to earlier versions, and if you run an application that needs
2.0, that's what you will have to have to have to run it.

I hhave no idea if you *need* it. Do you use it to develop software or have
any applications that uyse any of the 4 common released versions of the .NET
Framework you could have installed? (1.1, 2.0, 3.0 or 3.5?)

XP Home Edition SP2. Have NET Framework 3.5 installed. Under "Add /Remove"
programs, I notice Net Framework 2.0 Service Pack 1 and 3.0 Service Pack 1
listed. Can I remove these?

Thanks.

No, not if you want to run programs that need them. A new version of
the .net framework does not replace the old ones.

Why did you have to ask the same question as the OP over again? The answer
is the same.
