I have an MP3 file that consists of an entire album. I used Win Xp Pro Ms
Movie Maker to separate these songs into single song files. They now have
..msww extentions. How can I convert these files into MP3 files and play in
Win Media Player. Thank you.

Splitting the clip in Movie Maker as you did and saving only created a
project file (.msww extensions).
To actually create separate clips you need to drag one of the split clips to
the audio portion of the timeline and click on the "Save to my computer"
option under the Finish Movie task list. From here you will have audio
options to set the quality of the audio. The end result using Movie Maker
will be a WMA file.
Unfortunately you need to do this with each split of the original clip one
at a time.
Otherwise you can google for "MP3 Splitter" I got many hits using that
search but downloading one of the many "free" programs available may very
well get you a program full of adware.
