The help file shows how CD's can be copied but does not
deal with other sources. I would like to record from
other sources(for example, from a tape deck or a vinyl
LP).

How do I do that?

you'll need to buy or acquire the correct connecting cable(s) and for vinyl, some software.trywww cfbsoftware.com
