We are converting over from Windows NT to Windows 2000 Server.

All our users are use to inter-office email/messaging via MS Mail
Postoffice.

I have read up on adding MS Mail to Outlook 2002 for each workstation.
The only problem I see is Windows NT 4.0 had a way in the control panel to
go into MS Mail Postoffice and add users to the Postoffice.

How do we add MS Mail Postoffice to Windows 2000 Server so we can add users
to the postoffice.

First of all can you do this?

If not are there other options?

Thanks,

Bob Leffew

this is a link to show you how to use (setup) MS Mail
postoffice in Windows 2000. As for adding MS Mail
transport to Outlook 2002, do a search in the internet for
that. I did and found a neat little executable that does
it in one click. I am not at work so do not have the
executable for you. Hope this helps

Any reason you want to stick with MSMail? It's soooooo old, is sucky, is
totally unsupported by MS and hasn't been for a long time - I'd look into
Exchange, or, if that's overkill, maybe something nice like Kerio's
workgroup mail server.
