MS IE 6 Bookmarks

I have a lot of bookmarks that I would like to back up but
cannot find the file that contains them (IE 6). Could
somebody please tell me which file contains the bookmarks
or is there a better way to back up bookmarks?

All the files with .URL extension. The Favorites folder. You may either backup the URL files manually [reliable]. Or use the Export option in IE > File menu to save it in a single bookmark htm file.
