Hi. Hoping someone can help me. Running Windows XP (Home, 2002, svc pack 2), using Microsoft Home Publishing 2000, have a new HP Officejet Pro L7580 (USB). Prints most things fine. Printing a large document from Home Publishing, it stops printing after 18 pages (always 18 pages, regardless of which document I print). After 3 or 4 pages, printing and everything else slows WAY down, pagefile usage goes all the way up, sometimes I get the message "windows is running out of virtual pagefile space. some requests may be denied...".
Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling printer several times, also reinstalled Home Publishing. Have tried with and without spooling. Have tried increasing pagefile size. Have cleaned up and defragmented hard drive. All with no noticeable effect on the problem.
CPU is Intel Pentium 4, 3 GHz, 504 MG of Ram. Hard drive is 144 gig, 90% free. Did not have this problem with previous HP printer.
Help? Any ideas???
Thanks
Sue
