Any comments about this device?

Have notebook, with
Windows XP Home, SP2, and am seriously considering getting this.

What happens if the device is set and, say, the mouse fails:
Is there a backup system to allow me to access my password required hardware
and sites?

Thanks in advance,
Curious Robert

I've had one for several months and it works as advertised.

You should be aware that this is not a security device. It simply allows a
more convenient method for entering passwords. Passwords can still be
entered by typing them from the keyboard if that's what you mean by a
"backup system." (I'm not sure how, as you said, "the mouse failing" comes
into play) In other words You can still enter passwords exactly as you used
to. The fingerprint reader does not "replace" any current functionality it
simply adds another method.
