Caller ID is sent by the telephone company and requires a
subscription. The remote fax machine would also have to have Caller
ID activated on the line to which the fax machine is connected.
Many people do not include the Caller ID option on a line used
exclusively for faxes because no one looks at the information when
the call is coming in and it disappears from the fax display after a
couple of rings. The information you put in the Fax fields go into
the headers for each fax page. You have to tell the program what
header information to include on the page. A Cover Page has fields
which automatically plug in the appropriate information.

My faxes include what I put in the TSID (Transmitting Subscriber
Identification) field plus my company name. Anything else would
have to be on a cover sheet. When I receive a fax, what I put in
the CSID (Called Subscriber Identification) appears on the other
end, if that machine is setup to display it.
