I've installed a program that automatically faxes documents using Microsoft
Fax. On most systems its been installed on, it automatically uses the
"Dialing Rules" setup in Control Panel, such as Dialing 9, etc.
But on the machine I installed it on, it just ignores all the Dialing Rules
and just dials the phone number verbatim. I've looked at most every
possibility and can't figure out why. If I can't figure out why then I have
to change every customer phone number to "9,1, etc." which is undesirable.
Is there something i'm overlooking as to why my program is ignoring the
Dialing Rules?
When I manually send a fax through Microsoft Fax, I can checkmark "use
dialing rules" and indeed it does. But when my application sends the customer
name to MS Fax, that's where i have a problem.
Thanks,
