MS-DOS printing breaks onto 2 pages instead of 1

Hi, I'm trying to configure one of the computers in my
office to print from an MS-DOS accounting program called
Oak Street on one (1) page. The thing being printed is an
invoice.

I know it works because on one computer in our office, the
configuration is somehow correct to the point where it can
print on a single page.

Otherwise with other computers, the printing suddenly
stops obscurely on a 'T' of the word 'Total' ... not even
at a line break! It's very strange.

Does anyone have a solution? I've compared drivers, driver
settings, printer settings, everything. They are identical
on each computer.

Some notes:
OS: Windows 2000
Printer: HP LaserJet 1200 series

Things I've tried:
- Making sure settings are identical
- That WOW thing in the registry where you increase the
LPT1 timeout. This doesnt work
- Editing the System.ini file so that the network buffer
for printers is increased. This doesnt work either.

PLEASE PLEASE, any leads would be greatly appriciated.
 
Ah, but are the video cards, drivers and settings identical? Does the
printer use a driver in MSDOS, or is it running on a generic driver?, Or
even perhaps no driver. If the video cards and drivers are different the
"what you see is what you get" may also be different computer to computer,
and often is printer to printer.

try redirecting the print job to a file to see if after the 'T' there are
other "strange" characters (Maybe an ASCII 12 ?)
