MS-DOS...lets try this again

I have a program that only works in DOS mode...Am wanting
to buy a new computer..they all come with XP Home
addition..XP Home Addition does not have DOS mode..Been
on the Microsoft help site all morning..tring to find out
if XP Professional has the capabilities..but so
far...read all the stuff and Nada...HELP

Windows XP (Home and Professional) are not based on MS-DOS and do not have
the option of booting to MS-DOS mode.
There is a command prompt available and various additional compatibility
settings, but the ability to run an old MS-DOS only program is not
guaranteed.
