MS DOS and Windows XP

I purchased Panzer General which is a DOS based game.
The game runs fine but when I exit the game, My XP
desktop is unreadable. Only the task bar is clear.

What can I do to fix this?

Have you tried pressing F5 to refresh the desktop?

Right-click on the desktop and choose Refresh. If the menu is not
readable press the down-arrow twice and then press enter.

And where does it say that I did...? Of course there are situations where
rebooting is necessary and this is one of them.

Oh, and stalking someone round Usenet doesn't lessen your credibility then.

This is very typical of the ****! I have called her down on many things, only for her to either deny it, change up her answer from before (which makes her a liar), simply posts total ****wittery, or pathetically condescend when answering others, to make her useless life feel like something a little important.
