Where can I find out about "suspicious" programs? I ran
the scan multiple times, and the one that keeps coming up
is Transponder.dlmac. MS is ambigous about this program,
and I can find no information online.

Hi

You can´t find any information about different spyware searching
Microsoft.com. Only rumours available why they not publish this.

Try to clean your PC this way instead.

First:

- Send a suspected spyware report to MS about this, menu tools

Then try this:

- Download/Install CCleaner, www.ccleaner.com

- Download/Install Lavasofts Adaware

http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-SE-Personal-Edition/3000-8022-10319876.html?tag=list

* Also watch the video from Cnet about Adware within page
for best result.*

- Download Lavasofts VX2 cleaner

http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/addons/vx2cleaner.shtml

- Download Winsockfix, just a precaution if you loose your LSP.

- Restart in *safe mode*, press F8 during reboot

- Run CCcleaner and remove all temporarily junk.

- Run Adaware, fullscan

- Run VX2 cleaner

- Run MSAS, fullscan

- Restart

- Please report back if it works.

Can you post what the program tells you about this item? What's ambiguous
about it?
