i just updated the definitions and it has detected the uninstaller for spywareblaster as a key logger i've quarantined it for now but should i restore it and ignore the threat?

Is that MSAS def' 5709 ?

Nobody else is reporting this 'problem' with MSAS and SB ... leave it in quarantine for now, won't do any harm there, and check SB still works ok.

I'll investigate further for you.

ok thanks mucks

it still works just the uninstaller is not in the folder anymore

Just to clarify ... that is SpywareBlaster 3.3 (not 3.2) and MSAS def's 5709 ?

Yes?

IT IS A FAULSE positive ... restore your file and tell MSAS to "ignore" it. :thumb:

... for anybody else watching this thread, 5711 does 'fix' the false positive.
