Hi

I live in denmark and therefore use 17.00 to descibe 5PM and 05.00 for 5AM.
This however is a problem when using MS antispyware. I cannot set a schedule
to any PM time only AM. If I select 17.15 when I apply this it simply says
0515 AM!!!

Please correct this. Most computer in EU want to scan at PM and NOT AM as
some programmer in the US thinks :o)

Best regards

It won't be fixed until at least Beta 2 comes out later this year. It might
not be fixed until the app is localized for final release since the problem
isn't with the application but is with the settings the installer is using
and the ones on your system (i.e., you are using a 24-hour clock and the
installed app is using a 12-hour (English) clock).

However, there is a workaround.

Do the following:

1. Open MSAS
2. Go to Tools > Spyware Scan > Manage Spyware Scan Schedule
3. Now use Start > Settings > Control Panel > Regional and Language Options
4. Click the Customize... button (goes to Customize Regional Options)
5. Click the Time tab
6. Change the value in the Time Format list box to start with h or hh
instead of H or HH
7. Click Apply
8. Go back to MSAS and set the time you want the scan to run and click
Update Schedule
9. Go back to the Customixe Regional Options and set the the value in the
Time Format list box back to what it originally was
10. Click OK or just press Enter
11. Repeat steps 1 - 10 when changing the scan settings in the future.

I thikng Tom Emmelot from Amsterdam, had ansewr this question 2 o 3
times,
and he go like that:
If you are outside the USA then:

Go to start/Control Panel/Country settings
Change Language to US English.
Click on Apply
Open MSA change all your time settings the way you waont.
Click on "Update Schedule"
Then go back to set your default Languªge.
Don't Click "Update Schedule", anymore, then it go's back to the AM
times
agªin!

Should be in Copenhagen time by Beta 2 ;)

Microsoft is not trying to convert the rest of the world to backwards
American customs.

The priority for work is with progress on beta2. This bug is fixed in
beta2.

The workaround, fortunately isn't too onerous, and doesn't require you to
change your settings permanently--and is given in the other responses.
