Rob

I have been using the AntiSpyware Beta for about 2
months. Utilizing all the recommended protections.
System is running slower due to real time protrection and
it has yet to find one spyware file on my machine.
Adaware finds files after MS Spyware has run and found
nothting. I hope the market version is better than the
Beta. The Beta does not work.

Hi Rob

The Beta works like a champ !

Maybe its time to also "houseclean" your PC ?

CCleaner is really good.
www.ccleaner.com

- Note that you have 3 tabs for different cleaning.

- Also if you are lazy as all of us, uncheck "Recently typed URLs"
before "Analyze".

- Be careful if you have saved documents outside "normal" folders ie My
documents.

One more important thing is to defragment your drive.

I'm wondering whether you've read any of the other similar messages to
yours.

Since Microsoft Antispyware in the builds distributed thus far does not scan
for nor selectively remove cookies, what objects other than cookies has
Ad-aware found on your system?

If your system is running perceptably slower with Microsoft Antispyware
installed, I'd recommend minimally doing an update install--control panel,
add or remove programs, Microsoft Antispyware, change, update.

There have been such reports, throughout the beta, but this is a bug, or an
incomplete install of some sort--I have the beta running on 300 mhz
processors without complaint from the users.
