Hi,

I am the system administrator of my company and I was
testing MSAS now for quite a while.

I found it work like a charme. My question however is the
following:

in our domain, everybody has user rights within the
domain and power user rights on their windows xp pro pc's.

Will MSAS be available as an integrated service of
windows, so that if something is found and needas to be
deleted (from register of from protected directories) the
software won't ask every time for the administrator
password?

thank you in advance
Peter

Good for you, it would be nice though had you included a
link to that info because now I have to browse for
myself ;)

Maybe its this:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/892375 End users may be prompted to allow or
block administrative actions that originate from a central management tool
after they install Windows AntiSpyware (Beta) on a computer that is managed
by Systems Management Server 2003

This is the official word.

Some folks have hypothesized creating settings such that a given script is
OK'ed, and the .GCD file which records those settings is copied to each
workstation, etc.

The beta is simply not designed for this usage and environment. I wouldn't
say this is impossible, but I would say it is unlikely to be simple and
effective.
