MS Antispyware Serious Issue

Hello,

I was getting really irritated about all the popups that I
kept getting and decided to do something about it. I
installed MS Antiwpyware on my Windows 2000 machine, ran
the scan and it found 16 'remove' targets. I let it
remove all 16 and then rebooted my machine like it said I
should and when the machine tried to come back up it
froze. I shut down the machine left it alone for 5
minutes and then turned it back on.

What happen next is that it came up, asked me for my
password, logged me in to the network but my desktop no
longer shows on the screen, nor does the start task bar
show. All that shows is a Windows Explorer window with
My documents folder showing. In Windows explorer I can
see the desktop folder and all the things that should show
on the screen but can not get them to show up on the
screen.

I tried right clicking on the screen to get any menu but
right clicking does not work! Help!

I was told by others to stay away from Microsoft products
as much as I could but had never had this kind of an
issue. This is REALLY SCAREY.
 
Try safe mode, your username maybe damage. In safe mode log into the
master admin name. That is if you created and used second admin name
