Then use the computer to compute - and stay off the internet. Neither you or
I can control the actions of others. All we can do is deal with them.

This proves how security lacks in XP. I would image monoculturians would
prefer to use thier computers without enduring ongoing maintenance.
The very first time I ran MSAS, immediately after running both SPS&D and
Ad-Aware, it found 2 items.
That is why many people run 2-3 or more programs on a regular basis!

Not a wet dream, but trying to find out how this spyware suddenly appeared
on my XP SP2 system. Its strange that Spybot S&D never detected any
spyware, I had no pop-up/behind ads or windows before until installing M$
AntiSpyware 1.0 Beta. My main objective here is to find the cause, which
may be hard to definitely find due to the wide range of contributing factors
in XP, and eliminate the spyware.
You're having a wet dream!

Out of curiousity I installed and ran Microsoft AntiSpyware 1.0 beta. Now
after running this program, I have pop-up windows in XP SP2. Prior to
installing Microsoft AntiSpyware v1.0 beta, XP SP2 had no spyware
infections. I reguarly ran Spybot Search & Destory to make sure there are
no spyware infections.
Is Microsoft providing spyware on a XP system to show that their
AntiSpyware program works?
