I have been looking at items in a number of newsgroups.
there seems to be a common problem mentioned in many of
them.
It is to do with definitions updates. It seems a lot of
people found the same as me when you update, everything
seems OK and the message is that you have downloaded the
latest version.
If you try it again the same thing happens, and again and
again -------.
I tried as many others have, to remove and re-install,
with the same result.
I found someone had posted that the download from
Softpedia worked. I removed and re-installed, this time
using the Softpedia download.
I found that the problem had disappeared.
I wonder if anyone from Microsoft ever reads these
newsgroups. Is that too much to expect? Will Microsoft
reply?
