On one of my 3 PC's I am getting a SearchCentrix (Browser Modifier) during
the registry portion of the scan. Ewido, Ad-Aware & a2free do not pick up
anything. Does anyone know of a false positive for SearchCentrix (Browser
Modifier)?

This isn't something I'm aware of.

I agree with that this has the look of a false positive however.

Consider updating to Windows Defender, which is the beta2 version of
Microsoft Antispyware:

download and run--it will replace Microsoft Antispyware.

The new app updates within the application via Autoupdate, or externally,
manually, via Windows Update. Update to current signatures, and try a
quickscan. See if this detection continues or changes?
