Hello, just installed MS spyware. No problems...yet,
but wondering if I should be running this and Ad-Ware at
the same time? Is it redundant and will one or the other
hamper the overall effectivness?

Thanks, George

Hi

Adware SE, personal edition is only a scanner, MSAS has
realtime protection
and a scanner.

Keep them both. Run Adaware perhaps once a week.

.Hi plun, thanks for the responce/advice. So far
everything seems to be working fine as is. And as it's
been said before: if it ain't broke don't fix it
(something like that...). I feel strongly that many of
the problems we all face with tracking, popups,
hijacking, etc land squarely on the shoulders MS to begin
with...it should have been something they addressed in
the beginning, and from the ground up. What good is the
house we live in when it's built on a weak foundation.
If I designed a home and then addressed all the problems
after it was built I wouldn't be in business very long.
My rant for the day... >

Hi

Well, if you earn billions of $ you maybe don´t see any
danger at all.

I think Bill G realized this and now really put pressure on MS
to have "concrete as foundation", that trustworthy computing
means something and obligate MS to do something about this mess.
