MS Anti-Spyware startup

I do not want MSAP to start at startup. How do I do that without un-installing
the program?

Open MSAS
Options
Settings
Real-Time Protection
Uncheck Startup options

I did that but it does not prevent MSAS from starting. The icon is in the tray
and gcasDtServ.exe is a running process. I can right click on tray icon and
"shutdown Microsoft Antispyware" but I'm setting this up for a client (small
biz) with absolutely no Internet connection and need to make things simple. If I
remove the program will the startup items I disabled through MSAS stay disabled?

Not in my startup folder. I used MSCONFIG to stop it and all is well. I cross
posted in "onlinecommunity" and there is more info there.

Use the "workaround" paragraph in this article:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/892375 End users may be prompted to allow or
block administrative actions that originate from a central management tool
after they install Windows AntiSpyware (Beta) on a computer that is managed
by Systems Management Server 2003
