MS Anti SpyWare : No thanks

I am very sorry MS but :

Your first public beta should not have been a "public"
beta in the first place :
- too limited (no tracks eraser !!!!)
- no MS answers to the numerous complaints in the user
group by users who thought that they were testing an
almost ready product.
- slowing down the system of people who thought that MS
was offering an almost ready (beta) product.
- now that there is (apparently) an updated version, beta-
testers have to go AGAIN through the genuine-test
procedure before to download your half-developped "second
alpha" release !
Hello !! anybody home there at MS ?
Keep on playing in your back-yard, let us know when you
are ready (in a couple of years ?)
What happend with the wonderful product of Giant that you
bought - don't tell me that you managed to bring it down
to todays miserable level of performance in so little
time !

Not having those problems here and I have it installed on W2K Pro and
Server, WXP Home and Pro, W2K3 Server Std.

When you build a multi-billion dollar global corporation that sells product
that works well on millions of machines daily, and also supports a
Foundation that cares for people globally from hunger to AIDS, you let US
know.

Thats what betas are for, to get open feedback to help make the product

Hi Andre,
You are talking about betas for beta testers.
I said that the present beta should not have been given
to the public : it is not good enough to be a "public
beta".

All I wanted to say is THAT IT SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ROLED
OUT TO THE PUBLIC AS A "PUBLIC BETA" because it is not
ready enough !
Your answer is way beyond the scope of this viewpoint and
does not add anything at all.
 
the public is given the choice of whether to test the beta
and should understand what is beta testing
and should not test if they don't know the consequences of beta testing
 
Oh, I see... so it's ok for you to run your mouth "beyond" the scope of this
discussion, venting your "esteemed" opinion but others should be seen and
not heard unless the comments meet the criteria as outlined in your
forthcoming NY Times best seller, "Why I'm right and why you should just
shut the H*ll up." I'm sure it will do well.

As for adding anything to the discussion, you are entitled to your opinion.
 
Actually you are talking to and willing to accept a response from everyone
who has access to this newsgroup.
If that is not your intention, you are in the wrong place.
 
the version (.501 & .509) has a track eraser ;-) but cannot be scheduled...
this would be nice.

I have read most of the comments to my initial post and I
feel sorry for most of you guys.
 
I don't understand. The only troll I know of is the girl across the street
that I dated for a while. Nasty thing that kept talking about some ring and
something precious. I certainly wouldn't be feeding her.
