Hello.

How do I download updated definition 5711? My friend
computer did download 5711 Defs. But my MS spyware said
that I have the most recent Defs installed on my Comp.
But it is not really installed on my Comp.

if you don't know how to update the new definition, don't even run MSAS

One suggestion is to do an update install of Microsoft Antispyware, and then
re-try the definition update:

control panel, add or remove programs, Microsoft Antispyware, change,
update.

Then File, Check for updates.
