MS Anti spyware Beta 1 --- finds adware that refuses to be removed!!!

I installed and ran MS Anti spyware Beta 1, and it identified a couple
folders left from a previous (now gone) installation of eDonkey as low-risk
adware that should be removed. I agree, but when I attempt to delete the
directories I get an err msg "Can't find the specified file. Make sure path
is correct". I tried dragging it to the Recycle Bin, renaming, etc I also
tried shelling out to commandline mode and resetting attributes but it gives
me the same msg. The subdirs are empty. If my file system was a FAT
variant, I would reboot into command line mode and use a disk editor to
manually edit the allocation tables, if necessary, but this system is NTFS,
with which I am unfamiliar. OS is WinXP home, sp2.
Any suggestions from you MVP geniuses out there would be appreciated.

At the cmd prompt, from a parent folder,

RD /S /Q <foldername>

to delete the folder. This removes the whole 'directory tree'
