I saw a web page using "Merlin" the MS Agent character but cannot find
any documentation on how to use MS Agent in FP.
Any leads?

Nothing built into FP. But, if you like to program...

I have just about quit MsAgent since ActiveX controls are being blocked more
and more... it is just too dangerous out there. Looking into the Cantoche
Living Actor as an alternative so that we can continue the "Microsoft Agent
Theatre" on our site.

You might also want to go to http://agentry.net and use Gordon Bell's MASH
application (Google for site) which makes programming MsAgent a lot
easier... kind of a drag/drop interface that allows you to preview your
presentation and then output the JavaScript or VBScript.

Hope that helps a bit.

Besides MASH (Shareware) that was mentioned, you could try also MASS
{Microsoft Agent Scripting Software} [Do a Google search - MASS home] that is
FREEWARE.

You can copy code to html pages or html in Outlook Express to send email.

Windows only comes with Merlin (used to be called Wizard) but he other three
MS characters are, Peedy, Roby and Genie. And get the speech engine if you
want them to talk, remembering that if you send it to someone, they may not
have it installed.

Also, another interesting program (not MS Agent related) is CrazyTalk [Do a
Google search - CrazyTalk home]

Everyone will love CrazyTalk, but it's not free. Hope big Bill G. buys it
for us!
