MS Access mdb file

I have a MS Access mdb file that does not have any local Access tables. All
the tables are linked table from MS SQL database. How come the size of the
mdb file keep growing over time?

Any question, if a MS Access talbe is created, is there a way that we can
find out who create the table? I click on the property and the owner is alway
Admin.

Hopping in here (cos I can not see the original post):

OP, you say that the database does not have any local tables. Then you
say that when you look at the owner of a local table, it is always
Admin.

Which is it? Does the database /have/ local tables, or /not have/ local
tables?

I have 2 different questions.
1. I have a MS Access mdb file that has no local tables, all tables are
linked MS SQL tables. Forms and reports were created several years ago and we
didn't add any new forms or reports but the mdb file size keep growing.

2. I have another mdb file that has MS Access tables. Is there a way to
track who create the tables?

Access databases will grow as your linked tables data grows even if you
don't create new forms or reports. Also as data gets added or deleted from
the SQL tables, Access will still grow. If you compact the database, ;you
will see the size go down. Be sure you compact when the database is not
being used and be sure to open it exclusive.
