Hi everyone!
New to this forum, but very much looking forward to receiving some hints from all the cracks here
I am daily running a massive macro (around 50 steps, takes around 30 min to 1 hour) in one of my Access DBs, and I am running it "in the background" of my pc, while I work on other stuff (emails, excel....)
It happened before that I accidently - when switching to different programs - came onto the access application again and pressed "esc", with the effect of cancelling one of the running queries.... very odd, as I had then to rerun the whole macro, or even recreate a subtable that had "misteriously" disappeared.
Anyone knows how to lock a macro while its running? Anything I could probably add to the definitions of the macro?
Help much appreciated!
Many thanks & Happy Holidays
Martin
