MS Access and Oracle

I have been forced into a situation where I must use
Access in conjunction with Oracle. (I'd rather use SQL
Server.) When I do queries in Access against Oracle
data, the Access queries are case-sensitive. (I've seen
Knowledge Base article 100921 about this, and find the
workarounds unsatisfying.) If we were using MS SQL
Server, would the Access query case-sensitivity issue go
away? If so, I will use this as an argument to dump
Oracle in favor of SQL Server.

In case I can't dump Oracle,is there a book anybody can
recommend about using Access with an Oracle back end?

I know for sure that an Access 2002 mdb is not case sensitive against a
SQL-Server 2000 database. I can't remember if I've had the occasion to check
our Access project adp for case sensitivity.

The worst thing about case sensitivity is that requires a lot of query OR's
and more careful data entry. That is not necessarily a bad thing, just more
work.
