I have a problem, and i hope someone can help me out.
I have a shortcut to an Access database file on my
desktop to a file out on a file server. When i double
click, it gives me a 'file download' message box like i
am trying to download the file. But i don't want to. The
only options i have is Open, cancel, or more info, save
is greyed out and not an option for me. So i choose open,
Access will start but then i get an error stating that MS
Access cannot open the file. It says that the file is
located outside your intranet or on an untrusted site. MS
Access will not open the file due to potential security
problems. To open the file, copy it to your machine or an
accessible network location.
I have copied the file locally on the machine and it will
open. But that is not an option for me. Also, when other
people log into my machine using a different profile, it
will open on the network. Any ideas?
Thanks!
