Hi All!

Can somebody explain me or send me a link about MS Access
2000 Runtime Licnese policy?
I need to distribute an Access application to users who do
not own MS Office, and is not necessary to buy Office only
for this application.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

As I understand it, you require Office 2000 Developer Edition which contains
the licence and run time libraries to distribute self standing Access
applications. However apparently actually creating a distributable
application is a non trivial exercise - not including any work on the
application itself.

The only other way is to create your application in (IIRC) the enterprise
edition of Visual Studio which includes the JET DB engine and the licence to
distribute it.

I hope this is of some help.

Regards

Chris.
