MS Access 2000. Operation must use an updateable query

Hi all,

Hope someone can answer quickly, no time to read previous
posts.

I am getting the error message "Operation must use an
updateable query" for an update query which uses a query
and a table which itself being updated with an inner join
on 2 fields.

The query looks like this:

UPDATE T INNER JOIN Q ON (T.F1 = Q.F1) AND (T.F2 = Q.F2)
SET T.F3 = [Q].[F3];


Anyone can help?

F1 and F2 must be the Primary Key of the two tables. You could try:

UPDATE T
SET F3 =
(SELECT F3 FROM Q
WHERE Q.F1 = T.F1 AND Q.F2 = T.F2)
