I'm trying to convert Access 1.x database into Access 2002 but there's
an error. I used Access 97 to do the conversion since 2002 doesn't do
it. But a name conflict arised, there's a module named 'Modules' ...
ya I know, so 97 refuse to convert it. Now my last to option seems to
use SQL and ODBC to query the database.
Can someone tell me the syntax for looking up what tables are inside
this database? What collumns there are? and so on. I did not desing
this database so I have no idea what's inside it structure wise!!!

Or if someone have a tool to convert 1.x database into access 97 that
would be great.

Open the database in Acess 1.x and rename the module "Modules" to
something else, then do the conversion again.

You might be able to create a new, empty database in A97 and use
File... Get External Data... Import to import everything except the
offending module (this should also show you all the tables, etc.)

You can probably even import the Modules module by importing it to a
different filename.

If you have no luck, I still have Access2.0 installed; I'd be willing
to discuss converting it for you for a modest fee. Unspamtrap my From
address and email me if you're interested.
