Hello all.
I had a problem recently. My computer wouldn't boot. It
came up to the blue screen o' death with a stop error
saying that device driver couldn't be loaded mrxsmb.sys.
After repairing the installation and running the recovery
console to try to disable mrxsmb.sys to no avail, I simply
renamed it and the computer booted. Now I can't see nay
of the computers on my LAN. Anything sound familiar to
anyone? Is there somewhere I can get my file replaced? I
tried to replace the mrxsmb.sys file from another computer
before I renamed it and it didn't work. I am betting that
it contains some computer specific or network specific
info that cannot simply be taken from another
installation. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks
Eric
