Are you able to boot into your machine or are you bugchecking before you get
into the the OS. Have you tried safe mode?
Have you tried uninstalling SP4? Boot into recovery console then navigate
to the appropriate \Winnt\$NTuninstall$\spuninst folder and do a "BATCH
SPUNINST.BAT"
