MPEG

I wonder if someone can help. I have captured many
movies via a Pinnacle USB capture device and Studio 8.
(They are all MPEG files) When I load them into
Moviemaker and then edit and save the finsied article
the file type has changed from MPEG to video/audio file
and not a MPEG. How do I save them back to MPEG format?

David,

Save them as DV-AVI and then use third party software to make the MPEG file.
