Does anyone know if there is a size limitation on mpeg
files when running them in powerpoint?

There are no real hard limits on anything in PowerPoint. The limits, if
any, are set by the capabilities and availability of resources on your
system - processor, memory, video card, disk space, etc.

There must be a reason for the question, so if you are having difficulty
playing an mpeg in PowerPoint, you'll need to give us the details.

Size in terms of "quality" / "filesize"

or

"size" of the screen area when played back in powerpoint?
