I have a number of mp4 video clips taken from a memory card which was shot on
a Sanyo handy cam. There are about 56 clips. They are in 'My Videos' in a
folder named Aurora 2008. How do I import this folder into Movie maker
please.

Many thanks for your reply. I have tried deciphering the info you pointed to
but so far I am totally confused as I do not understand. I will try and get
to do it again and maybe with a bit of help when I can see someone.

Here's one way to convert the files...

The following website can convert
your .mp4 files for you.

MediaConvert

Hi John,

I think I am getting closer with your help. My 56 files are in one folder.
The files are named Sanyo003 onwards to number 56. When I clicked on the
first folder (Sanyo003) I got the message ' File extension can correspond to
more than 1 format. Please enter the exact format.' What does that mean
please. Many thanks for your patience.

I'm no expert on this site...I've just used
it a couple of times...but I'll try to offer
some ideas.

Open the drop window to the right...
under the 'Movie' heading...try choosing
MPEG-4 (.mp4).

Next...

Scroll down a bit and you will see a drop
window that allows you to choose the
Output Format...I would suggest 'Windows
Media Video (.wmv)'.

Check the box..."I Accept The Terms"...
Click...OK...

The conversion should begin.

When the file is completed...click the Download
button and download the file to a folder on your
hard drive.

Good luck.
