Is there a program that will embed mp3 in PP 2003?

Hi Sasha

CDex will fool PowerPoint into thinking an mp3 is a wav. See here:

I have heard that this is not without problems so make sure you test, test,

That's years i 've been using CDEX and untill now, without any problem

Like Jean-Pierre I've seen few problems.

The main predictable problem is that it won't play if a Mac is used and
sometimes if an older PC OS is used. I've also seen Cdex'd files that didn't
work in XP but in all those cases the original mp3 didn't work either.

Thanks for clearing it up John - I remembered hearing about some issues but
I couldn't remember what they were. The Mac one in particular is a good one
to file away properly in my brain
