mp3 player shows unknown artist

Help! I have Window XP and transferred songs in Media Player that were categorized with names on them to my Sansa e280. On my computer, the sansa shows the files with names and the songs with names. On the sansa, all I have is a file that says unknown artist and the songs all say unknown.

Thanks for any help.
