MP-F57

Could someone please help me! I have just got a MP-F57 MP3, and was told that
it would be really easy to use, but I cannot get it to work. I have chraged
it for the recommended four hours, by plugging it into my computer.

It appears to have two tracks already on it, but I do not know how to load
other tracks on. The guy in the shop said that you can download for free, but
I checked out a website and it said it would cost 99p per download. I'd be
very grateful if someone could advise me whether:

1. I can download for free / pay and recommend a good site ( and is it legal
to download for free?)
2. How I download (I have a hp Radeon 9000 computer)
3. What the little cd disk is that came with the product
4. How I can delete voice recordings made on it ( it just keeps saving them)
5. Generally how to use the thing!

The instructions are very basic and not at all helpful, I think they presume
the owner knows something about MP3 players but I know absolutely nothing and
don't understand any of the technical language.

All help would be gratefully appreciated

Thanks

Tara

In TARA had this to say:

1. I can download for free / pay and recommend a good site ( and is
it legal to download for free?)

That depends on where you live and what you like to listen to. You'd have to
pay for copyrighted music if you live in the UK (99p makes me think you
probably do) as they follow copyright laws I believe.
2. How I download (I have a hp Radeon 9000 computer)

Find a site... http://music.msn.com (I think was the address) is one such
critter.
3. What the little cd disk is that came with the product

Something you probably should have run before plugging the product in for
the first time.
4. How I can delete voice recordings made on it ( it just keeps
saving them)

For that you'll want to read the manual I'm afraid. If not then when it's
plugged in open My Computer and it *should* appear either as a media device
or as a mass storage device and you can usually browse around in there and
delete stuff. Of course if you put the little CD into the drive and either
let it autoplay or run setup from it... Well, it might get easier. ;)
5. Generally how to use the thing!

Again, you'll probably want the manual.
