I have created a ppt using 2007 on vista. my presentation has two mp3 files.
they both play fine on the vista system. I moved the ppt and the two mp3
files to a flash drive to try on my XP system. the first mp3 plays fine, the
second does not. the only difference I can see is that the 1st has a 128 bit
rate, the 2nd a 256 bit rate. is that a problem?
on the xp system, both mp3's will play from the flash drive. the second
will not even play from within the ppt when I click play in custom animation.
the 2nd MP3, is also a larger file at 5.5 MB, the 1st which always works, is
only 2.5 MB. could there be a resource issue? my XP system is a 1 MB laptop
with a 1.7 ghz processor, and powerpoint 2003 is the only program running.
also, I have installed the ppt add-on into my XP system, and tried both pptx
and ppt files with the same result.
clever thoughts/ideas would be appreciated!
thanks, kenbo
