I have downloaded music from the internet onto a CD. The
copied music is in mp3 format. My car CD player will
recognize this. How do I change the format?

First of all transfer the mp3s to your hard disk.

You convert the mp3's into wave files (use WinAmp 2.91 - no other version,
it has a disk writer module that converts mp3's into wav files and its free)
and then burn the wave files to CD using WMP (if you must ....) or better
still Nero.

I really don't understand why you want to convert them if your car stereo
reads mp3s. You can get nearly 200 songs (at 3/4Mb per track) onto a CD-R
with mp3's on it.

Cheers,
Jerry

Greetings --

There is no reason to convert to wave first.

Perhaps so, but then the quality is better than when recording on the fly
..... ;-)
